April 1, 2011 What the EMR stimulus incentive is providing
The stimulus money is provided to clients through a bonus percentage of claims submitted. Thus, physicians can receive a realistic number through their annual revenue generated from Medicare alone. Those not submitting to Medicare or have very little accounting from Medicare, may not wish to proceed as quickly as others in terms of using charting software.
